This 150-year-old Arts & Craft Bungalow under went major changes. We excavated the front property along the front entrance and built a large Rock wall. We also bordered most planting beds with River Rock to enhance the individual gardens. The property boarder was designed to create a natural barrier for complete privacy using 8-10'Arborvitae & Blue Spruce, then layering w/ Rose of Sharron, Barberry and abundance of Perennials which bloom from May thru Frost. May brings English daisy's and Columbine into full bloom in the front garden, accented by the Red Leaf Lismachia. The Bamboo Garden in the rear of the property supplies all the material needed to build bamboo fences. Purple & Yellow Iris, Bleeding Hearts fill vases year after year to bring spring inside for the homeowners The Azalea 's were planted to represented a Buddha Women lying down by the pool and is accented by the 100 year old Wisteria Arbor by the cottage June brings and abundance of yellows everywhere. Buttercups bloom where purple iris fade. Yellow sedum & Campanula boarders the pool along with Lambs ear and Salvia. Mature Weigelia in full bloom enhance the perennials along with the large Snowball Viburnum Hedge at the end of the driveway. The gardens continue to change throughout the summer. July brings new shades of Orange, Lavender and White. Black-eyed Susan & Liatris at the front door Loosestrifes, Echicnachia & Garden Phlox fill the side gardens as you enter the property. Blue and Purple Hydrangea, Simple and beautiful.
